It's not a major problem yet.

But I've noticed my phone is shutdown while I'm using it, 3 times in the last 4 weeks.

I've never experienced this problem in any of previous Samsung phones I've owned.

Hello @GCL Hum and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

Now that we have established this is not the auto restart settings , can you try these generic troubleshooting steps.

1. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

2. Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.

3. Use the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App.

4. Send feedback via your Samsung Members App.

A last resort would be a back up and factory reset before letting a Samsung Service Centre having hands on.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Thank you for the response.

I have checked and the auto restart is off.

Note that when my phone shuts down, it's not restarting. It's powering off and it's always when the battery is above 50%.

I bought this phone at launch and after 8 months, it's acting up.
