Had my S24+ for a month now so thought I would share a summary of my experience to date.

Firstly I am in the UK so it's Exynos. Always knew the SOT wouldn't be as good as the ultra but coming from an old S10+ I knew it would be an improvement. Getting around 4.5 to 5.5 hours SOT running from 80% to 20% charge. It's fine for my needs.

Downloaded Good Lock which is great as allows extra features and customisation.

Running the phone as it was designed so not using any power saving functionality. Only thing I have done is set performance to light. I don't play games on the phone so again no noticeable difference.

Camera is fine and using at 12MP pretty much replicates what you see. Using at 50MP and the phone does some post processing which can affect the images but not a show stopper. I am hearing there is likely to be a camera upgrade which may help.

Overall I love this phone. Best one I have ever owned and I have had Samsungs for years now. This forum is also great for advice and tips too

We love a happy post.

People sometimes get brainwashed on social media and stop enjoying their phones.

The S series has so much more to offer in various departments that makes it an overall Awesome choice .

Camera update seems to be pushed to july/August now.

That's really great to hear about your experience. The S24+ looks like a really good smartphone.
I know that I'm really enjoying my S24 Ultra
Samsung really brought out some great devices this year

@MarkBatch  Thanks for sharing, glad you are impressed with your S24 Plus and find the community helpful.   opinions may differ on Exynos  but a number have found it fine, even if Snapdragon is higher rated.  Whilst a number customers will use tech forums such as this one to highlight problems  it is good to hear of positive experiences.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I agree it's a beast of a phone @MarkBatch  👌

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

How are we finding the modem? I am finding that the signal strength on my S24+ is not as good as it could be.

I think the phone is great and I love it even though I've had it for only about 2 weeks but yeah if I compare the signal strength against other phones I feel it could be better.

Just to clarify I am also using the S24+ in the UK and so it's an Exynos version.

One of the reasons I gave mine straight back. Calls were awful at times, as was signal strength. I've seen others commenting the same. I really liked the phone and wanted to keep it, but signal strength aside, had to restart it a couple of times, and it also struggled with multitasking. Wasn't the experience I expected! Uploading videos was much much slower compared to the snapdragon version. As much as I liked it, was far too risky to keep for the long haul, so played it safe and bought the S23 ultra which I think is a masterpiece.

In my professional opinion, the primary concern I have identified is the modem's performance, which I believe falls short of expectations. While I have no reservations about the Exynos processor or the phone's overall speed, the modem's capabilities are lacking.

On a positive note, I am pleased to report that the phone does not exhibit any overheating issues, and the battery life is remarkably impressive. I have observed that the phone can remain on standby for approximately three days while delivering a total screen-on time of over six hours.

However, I acknowledge that accurately measuring signal strength can be challenging due to various factors and scenarios. Nevertheless, based on my observations, I maintain that the signal strength remains a weak point that requires improvement.

Which is why I was asking other people about how they found the signal strength of the phone.
