S24 not getting the One UI 7 update

Hi guys , I'm in UK and since the One UI 7 has been released , my S24 is not getting the update . Even when I go software and check for updates manually. What could be the issue and how can I fix it ?

Nope, this is not OneUI 6.1 from September 2024. You see date on your version?

You can also download software updates via Smartswitch

We see this a lot from customers who have bought via AO.com

They source from around the world, your device isn't a UK model which is why you're not getting any updates since you bought it.

Try Smartswitch, if no joy you may have to return it to AO for refund (expect a battle).

If Smart Switch doesn't find any updates either, the only solution is to flash it with Odin, but you'll have to look for that on another forum, preferably the xda forum, where you can get instructions on how to flash your phone, with or without losing data (that's why it's best to make a backup first)

Hopefully you didn't buy a grey import from Laptops Direct like I did, grey import sold as a UK MODEL but in fact is a Greek model.

The battle with your supplier is easy although can be a slog, just demand your consumer rights or ask Sammy to fix it. Remember you were mis sold, the device does does not function as described, the sales were misleading as you thought you were buying UK version unless otherwise stated. Sammy says they are committed to monthly updates as part of their update policy so if they don't work, the device is not working as described and sold and you have the right for a fix or refund.
