I previously has a Pixel 6 and Pixels before I moved over to the S24+ and I never seemed to suffer this issue.
When I have my S24+ in my pocket it's getting up to a whole load of stuff. Screen grabs, app opening, emergency call initiation, settings changes etc.
I've turned on accidental touch protection but it doesn't seem to work that well. I think it's a result of not actively locking my phone before I put it in my pocket sometimes but I'm sure my Pixel 6 would auto lock when 'on body'.
It's pretty tiresome having to deal with it on a daily basis - I really like the phone but this is really letting down the experience for me.
Any suggestion on how to stop this from happening?

Did you find a solution? I'm having the same - have had to turn so many settings on/off it's really lowered the experience of using the phone. Latest thing is the fingerprint sensor constantly being tripped, so now turned that off when the screen is off. Samsung so far have recommended using a screen protector or a case that covers the front of the screen. So not great.

Same problem here. I ALWAYS lock the phone with the side button before putting it in my pocket (precisely because of these dysfunctions) and have tried all the settings mentioned in previous posts, and yet regularly I find the phone has dialled the emergency services from my pocket, or else the keypad has composed an endless series of numbers, hashes, etc.
This is crazy and I'm tearing my hair out!!

I have the same issue with my 24 Ultra. It's driving me crazy. I've never had this issue before.

Turn off double tap to turn onthen it will not happen again, even if you turn on increase sensitivity. Atleast in mine it solves it

Samsung changed something for the S20. I never had this issue in earlier models but constantly had pocket button presses when I got the S20 FE, even with all the recommended prevention measures turned on. I recently got the S24 FE and am disappointed to have the same problems. I should have researched before upgrading and I would have tried a different brand. I've had to change the emergency number to a non-existent number to avoid pocket dialing emergency. Spotify always starts playing in my pocket. And I've pocket Teams called my boss on one occasion. Most often I will get my phone out and see it has managed to go into Settings or open an app.

Any chance you have 'Extend Unlock' set up so that it's actually blocking your lock screen from being fully locked. Think you can set it up for on-body, trusted places, and trusted devices. If you have one of those set up it might allow simple touching to cause it.
I have the same issue on mine as well, but as much as it annoys me, turning off the other features that might be causing it would make me more annoyed. I was on an S10 and never had the problem. Went to iPhone for a couple of years and never had the problem, though I had so many other issues I decided to come back to Samsung and now I have this happening. I actually think it got worse when I turned on the Avoid Accidental touches thing.
Overall, it's a small nusiance, but yeah, it's almost like a spam bomb from a virus hit me. And depending on your other pocket touches while this is happening you can get even more stuff (including many things you would never otherwise activate or sign up for).
Hope you figure it out.

For anyone else having issues, heres some permanent fixes.
disable double tap to wake
Disable allow finger print activation while phones off.
Enable accidental touch.
Make sure to click side button before putting in pocket.
Unless you have a screen protector on, turn off increased touch sensitivity.
I believe that's it from what i could find in multiple threads, and whats worked for me.
