S24 Encrypted Storage

Can someone from Samsung explain why the s24 series does not support encrypted storage as standard? It seems the s23 is a better bet in terms of security of comms.

It is my understanding that a full device encryption is enforced since android 10 and it is part of the setting up process.  I do not think there an option to bypass storage encryption.

Device not storage. Apps I use that need encrypted storage cannot work on s24. Even DuckDuckGo!
