I'm facing this most irritating problem with my S24 Ultra 512GB. I purchased this device just 5 days back, and I often miss the calls because of this problem. I thought it was accidentally kept on mute mode by myself, and then turned to the max when I saw this issue for the first time. I had to increase the volume many times manually yesterday. How could I make this alright?

Hi @Ring Volume setting

I can well imagine how this would be frustrating.

Can you first try > Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

And if required > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

That does sound frustrating. Definitely not suggesting this as a solution but as a stop gap work around until you find the problem you could create a routine to set the volume on an incoming call? (settings->Modes and routines).1708244939462.jpg

Hi @Ring Volume setting

Did you check the volume settings on:

Settings -> Sounds and vibration -> Volume

  • Ringtones
  • Media
  • Notifications
  • System

> Use Volume buttons for media.

Check that Ringtones and Notifications are set to the desired level.

Also note that if Use Volume buttons for media is toggle on, the volumes keys might not have the desired effect,

Was a real solution found to this problem? Or only random replies like the ones here?

the Ringtone slider is all the way down when this happens (multiple occurrences). Put it back to audible level and it will stay there until this setting gets corrupted again.

Vibrate while ringing was enabled and fortunately the vibrator still worked on incoming calls.
