S24 Biometrics not working on all apps

My new S24 biometrics do not work to unlock Google Wallet, LastPass, my banking app, and several others. The option in the app to enable biometric (face recog) is grayed out so looks like it is internal issue and not the apps. Is there a know issue or limitation?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Please note that Face ID isn't secure enough for payment types and banks. It has to be a fingerprint.

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

I would suggest to create an extra fingerprint of the same one you've already set up. 

I find this improves the reliability. 

Face unlock isn't an option.
