S pen

Hi all I have a question. When taking out my S pen I used to be able to screen translate by hovering over text and it would do it as I hover. Now all I can do in translate is hover over text in a book type or speak. Where has that function gone? Or where can I find an app that works with the s pen? X

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm using an s24 ultra, and it just isn't there anymore. That's one of the reasons I wanted my s24 ultra for the pen to have these features as I had it with my note 10. I know it was a huge jump from that to this. It's just a shame x

So I've just tried this on here and found that if I highlight the text there is an option to translate.

Is it no longer an option to add translate shortcut by pressing the +? It is a shame if it's no longer available.

Go to settings then advanced features then s pen then go to air command then shortcuts then add the translate one. It works on my s22 ultra which is on one ui 6.1.1. I hope it helps

The hover to translate (s pen translate) feature is still available. HOWEVER, recently Samsung have decided to remove the Google Translate feature from this (which gave 100s) of language options and instead they have reduced it to just Samsung languages which gives about 10 language options...it's a BIG downgrade. The ease and accessibility of the S pen translate is not challenged by the Google Translate app itself, although it works. It's a real shame I hope Samsung bring Google Translate features back to the S pen translate
