S Pen translate

Hi,

This is not a problem, more like question to developers.

I used S Pen translate feature a lot on my previous phone where engine for translation was Google translate and I was able to use Serbian. But now, on S24 ultra, translation engine is samsung translate which doesn't support Serbian. Are they planning to add more language, including Serbian, in supported language, or at least to allow to chose Google translate as the engine for translation?

Best thing is to go into the support section and leave feedback there for development teams to see.
I don't see it on the list, but I know they will be working on it.
That said the AI software is fast being developed and will probably provide services like this more widely soon.

But leave feedback and see if that gets anywhere

Use Google translate until Serbian is added. You don't have to use Samsung translate

Ok, can you explain how to use Google translate for this s pen translate feature?

Did you install Google translate? If yes it will be added as an option to translate with

Yea, but I talking about that great S Pen feature, where translation appears in a small pop-up when you hover S Pen over the word, or sentence

When you use S pen translation, after marking what you want to translate, do not select Translate in the bar that appears, but go to the 3 dots on the right of that bar, a vertical menu will open and find Translate there. It's Google Translate.

This is a much simpler way and you don't need an S pen. Tap Circle to Search, and you have the Google translator icon on the right, you tap and it translates the whole page.

I also have the same problem with Dutch language.  For me it's a really big problem. I used a lot the function of translation with a smart pen. And after the last update it doesn't work 😔

Same here for me - really missing the Dutch option.
