Hi,
Quick share in my galaxy s24 ultra is not receiving folders. It is sending it with no problem and receiving and sending multiple files as well. But the only problem is that it is showing nothing when a folder is sent. Please advice.

Hello @Guri37

Nkt sure if any advice on this thread will help.

Have a look > https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/quick-share-fail.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Thank you @BandOfBrothers, but it did not solve the problem. I cleared all the cache data but it still does not recieve the folder. That is wierd though, how it can send but not recieve the folder.

I use quick share all the time on my phones and tablets and I don't think it ever sends folders. A simple transfer from my S24 Ultra to my tablet didn't send a folder, only individual files. Pretty sure it's always been this way though.

I never really used quick share before, started to send my stuff from old galaxy s9+ to this new phone. And the folders are going too.
It is just that it is not going from s9+ to s24 ultra

Interesting. So you're saying your S24 is sending folders to your S9+?

If that's the case, which file manager is being used to send through and is it the same for both devices?

UPDATE: So a couple of things I noticed, my file manager I used was not sending the folders via quick share, but using Samsungs own file manager it does. My S24 Ultra can both send folders (with files) and receive as tested alongside my S21 Ultra. The file manager you're using is the likely culprit.

I am using the Samsung's file manager only on both the phones, still no sucess and i do not have any other galaxy device to check if it is the problem only with my s24 or not.
