You're going to need to persevere with Sky mobile unfortunately however if they say no then you'd need to raise a complaint if you feel that's the next step @metop
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi, @metop. Just to add to what has already been advised, while a retailer and/or mobile provider will be bound by its own processes/available offers, we'd be happy to assist you with getting your S24 Ultra functioning as brilliantly as we'd expect. This might save you some inconvenience, too.
Please can you let us know what specific problems you've had with the phone and what you've tried thus far?

Thanks for confirming that.
Have you toggled the Brighten screen option on to see if this helps with nighttime visibility?
To do this, you'd just need to go to Settings > Security and privacy > Biometrics > Face recognition > Brighten screen (ensure this is toggled ON).
Please let me know whether this helps bolster the performance of facial recognition when it's darker, @metop.
With regard to the screen burns, I might be misunderstanding this. Do you mean that the display gets hot during video calls? If so, please can you confirm which app(s) you're using when this occurs?

Yes, the Face recognition will work optimally when there is some light and may not work as expected when you're in a completely dark environment (e.g. where there are no light sources at all). I appreciate that you didn't specify this, but just wanted to address the possibility.
With regard to the image retention from those apps (as I understand it), are you able to upload a photo showing this?
