Problem with calls

I need help desperately. Since yesterday morning, if anyone calls me, they can hear me but I can't hear anything that they say back to me.

I've reset settings, checked volumes, started in safe mode and nothing. All volume works perfect...ie you tube, music, voice notes, messenger, Snapchat etc. It's purely phone calls I'm having issues with.

I went on Vodafone live help, I had to remove my sim, give him the sim number and put it bk in when he told me. The issue is solved. He said it wasn't showing as registered on the network...it definitely was, until I had words Monday night with another advisor so who knows.
