Phone calling emergency services

Hi Samsung Members,

Looking for some advice, when im out walking my dogs, my s24 ultra always seems to call emergency services ? Wondered if anyone's phone is doing the same and anything i can do to turn off my phone ringing 999?

Settings, safety and emergency, check if emergency sos has require swipe to call on.

Also do you happen to have a smart watch? That can do it too

Yeah i have a samsung watch ultra but thats always set to walking, its so annoying, im just back after an hour walk and ive somehow logged 2 calls with the police, ive got loads of voicemails from them, they said it sounds like im walking and to call them back if its an emergency, but its so annoying and I don't know why its doing it. The screen is off in my pocket. I bet when I leave my phone in the car next time, ill need it 🤣

Required swipe to call is turned on, I put all the settings on last time it happened, but I must be missing some settings somewhere

Hi @PaulStoner92. If you haven't done so already, I'd personally recommend enabling Accidental touch protection, as this will stop your phone's screen from turning on when it's in your pocket. 

To do this, go to Settings > Display > scroll down a little and toggle the switch next to Accidental touch protection to On.

Same here, they copied apple. I hate it. Randomly calls emergency. You can't even turn it off. Im not getting a Samsung again next. Loved Samsung for a long time but they have no vision of themselves. These are the things i hate about apple copied over
