Well after purchasing the 24 ultra and returning it because of all the problems in early Feb. I bought a pixel 8 pro . First time I've moved outside of Samsung.

To be honest I was pleasantly surprised at some of the features initially but have after about a month using the Google pixel decided it's not a patch on Samsung.

I guess I'm looking for a we push back to Samsung, have issues been resolved or at least most of them on the 24 ultra . I've had a quick read through seems a few still getting lots of issues and others not so much so . Persuade me please lol 😂

It's up to you, i wanted to swap to a few other brands too, but after reading and watching reviews, I decided to stay with Sam. I love the S24U, it still can be improved, but the other phones just can't simply give me everything that this phone does, I had a good phone straight from the box, that works as expected, so I've not had any major disappointment from it, and I know how much this matters in forming an opinion about a product.

Pixels are great if you want a more stock Android approach on a phone. Some love that.
Having had Pixels and still have the 7 Pro somewhere at home. I can see why some like this

But for me I'm loving my S23 Ultra and Z Fold 5.
Both phones have so much opportunity to customise and set features etc.
I like the extra stuff I can control and adjust for the camera over the pixels as well.

Me personally I don't have any issues with either phone.
You can set the screen vividness. Personally I think it looks horrible so keep mine on Natural, which for my eyes looks so much better.

Love the 2 day battery life. S Pen is great for me. Especially as a remote shutter button.

So I much prefer these phones
But it's personal preference

It's really up to you and what you like in a phone, maybe I would like Pixel too, who knows, but I am so used with Samsungs, that I am not willing to try right now. I don't really care about stock or non stock Android and things like that, for me Samsung or Pixel are probably just as good as any phone. One reason why I envy Pixels, is because i heard they take very good night sky pictures and the camera on the Pixel takes very clear pictures in general, at least this is what they advertise and what some users are saying about Pixel phones.

I have to say that the pixels probably have the best software for getting those night sky photos.
They take a bunch of photos and stack them all together. Align up the images and you get great photos.
S24 Ultra does really well. It just doesn't Align the images so you get star trails unless you go for a shorter exposure.
I'm hoping a future update using the AI software will get those amazing shots

Just need it to eventually stop raining here

Thanks for that. I really didn't know. 👍

I am really hoping in future updates, I mean, why on earth would you as a company, not want to get the best of this powerful camera, I'm sure it was expensive to put in these phones. It's just the software that's glitchy.

I am really hoping to get moonshots again, and just pictures without rain lol

Never tried a pixel, the design of it really put me off, it's like they purposely tried to make the ugliest phone.😅

After playing around with S24U Camera settings, I've never been more pleased with the results.
Overall, brilliant phone.
