Dear community and Samsung team
I have a question regarding how JPGs are changed after they are moved to PC (or Google Drive etc).
I know for a fact that still image files and video files in Samsung gallery have more data than normal images. For example, if you take a portrait photo - you can change the object of focus after taking that photo in gallery app. Also if you crop the video, the part that you cropped is still there and you can revert changes.
However, what happens when you copy these files to a PC? Can you still edit them on your PC using some software or "additional" data is permanently lost? For example, if I want to save space on my phone and copy all the portrait images i took to my PC, will I be unable to change the object of focus? Or will I be able to do that after i move the file back to Samsung Gallery app in my phone? Could you please let me know if I should edit every photo and video on my phone before moving it to my PC?
Also, saving space using OneDrive does not work - as described in tickets below, therefore it is not a solution:

I think any "original" jpeg will stay on the device while edited jpg will copied/moved elsewhere. you can delete originals using good guardian / media file guardian app
