With 2024 officially over what are your 2024 phone of the year? 

Mine is the S24 Ultra.

Mine has to be the S24 ultra as Well.

I love the cameras to the point I rarely feel the need to edit them now.

I guess I have kinda dialled it in as how I want them given the Samsung literally throws the whole shebang of customisations and options at you.

I have been. Intrigued by the vivo pro 200 and it probably out performs in some camera aspects but recent videos vs the s24 ultra doesn't show much of a benefit.

Also the S24 ultra is way better in all other areas as well.

A solid all rounder which does everything you throw at it.

Agreed. The S24 Ultra is my main phone and I've been able to throw alot at it and it's managed it like a champ. I don't plan to upgrade from this until maybe 2031.

My last phone was the s21 ultra (also mkbhd's phone of the year) since preorder as well and I thought I'd keep it for another year but got tempted by Samsung's preorder deals on the s24 ultra and here I am 😂

😂 I mean given what I've heard the S25 Ultra could be capable of doing right now it doesn't tempt me much at all at least right now and being on a phone contract is also a big limit, however I am quite interested to see how the S25 series holds up.

I am actually interested if they could enhance the detail and stuff in photos via AI that would be a real deal breaker.

Imagine if they could spew out photos which look like dslr quality with detail, clarity, smooth bokeh and edge detection that would be gold.

They also seem to have fixed the 50MP and 200MP on One UI 7 beta which for me is a.good start.
