For about 3 days now there has been a glitch with nfc. My phone will randomly start making a weird noise and vibrating every second and it is so frustrating.
When I switch off nfc, it disappears but this would mean I can't use Google pay, so I need to switch it back on.

I have updated my phone to the most recent software update, and am fortunately not experiencing this.
Do please double check all relevant settings.

In addition are you using any case with NFC built in or accessories?

@Members_FLU8aJn: I'm sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue. To allow you to continue using Google Pay without triggering the noises/vibrations while its not in use, I recommend setting up a routine via Settings > Modes and Routines
If > App opened > Google Pay > Then > Connections > NFC > On

Do you have any id/bank card under your phone case by chance? I had the same issue, and the reason was my id card that i wear under my phone case, it has nfc chip and my phone was constantly trying to read it.
