Dear all
I just noticed that recently, every time i use the hand set (S24+) directly to make a phone calls (that is without headphones) the top part of the device becomes unbearably hot and it hurt my ears.
Same thing happens during a video call except that during a video call I feel that by hand because I will be looking at the camera and not putting the handset by the ear.
No charger is connected meanwhile, No background apps are running, it doesn't matter if I use the following settings:
Battery saver, Performance mode, Screen brightness.
Any idea???

What's signal like where you are @Windroid
If its low I assume the phone is working harder to maintain connection.
However the phone will warm up when such resources are being used ,but the phone shouldn't heat up to the point thats it's uncomfortable.
If the phone is heating up beyond such parameters then a warning message should pop up to warn a person to close the phone down ,and in extreme circumstances the phone would shut down.
There is a diagnostic tool found in the Samsung Members App.
And a Samsung Service Centre can assess the phone if your out of any relevant cooling off period.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

Well thats good news @Windroid 😉
The phone as I said will naturally warm up from it being used and the heat from your face but shouldn't be intense enough to not be able to hold it.
To add if you have a screen protector and or case then remove them to see if that helps.
