This update delay will never go away. Delayed until Q1. Now delayed until April/May. Next it will be delayed until August/September. Probably beta 12 in December. Then the S26 lineup will be released in 2026 with NO Android 15 on any of the older eligible models (S22, S23, S24).
Before you know it Google Pixels will come out with Android 16 and then 17 by the end of 2025, with Samsung being at least 3 years behind with Android updates and roll-outs. It's ridiculous.
S26 will release with Android 15 in 2026
S27 will release with Android 15 in 2027
S28 will FINALLY get Android 16 in 2028, when Google Pixels are probably on Android 19 or 20
Hopefully by 2029, anybody with a Samsung that is NOT the S25, S26, or S27 will be able to get Android 15, I seriously doubt it though.
I also understand a stable update is better than beta with glitches and bugs, but can anyone without a S25 experience, at least to get an idea of what it can be like, instead of just waiting in the dark?
Unless we want to go broke upgrading our phone every year, either buying outright at $2000, before taxes, or getting S25 with a data plan, approx $130/month plus taxes.
Can we get something Samsung. Can we get anything, any hint, any idea of what Android 15 could be without lining your pockets and making you richer to screw us over because we many not necessarily want or need to upgrade every single year. Mind you, upgrades that have no significant changes, aside from minor features here and there.
Very disappointed in Samsung, they have officially lost their magic and their aura.
