Glad you got it 2 months after the release of the flip and fold 6. For me it was 10 months! Samsung can F*** OFF!

I think from now on, I will turn my face towards Apple. After Asus, Samsung became the second company to disappoint me.

You know, as do other Samsung fans, that Samsung has no alternative in the Android world, Samsung is the best Android in the world. But, I guess it's already obvious to them that they can't sell almost identical phones for 5 years in a row and that the Chinese have now overtaken them with the battery, Android version, maybe RAM, I don't know, I don't follow others. Samsung is the best for me and I mentioned somewhere that this will be a very interesting year, both for Samsung and for us.

The S24 Ultra was released with the Google Play Services date 1st July 2023...And it stuck there for almost half a year..

And who do you think got them in that position? Samsung are the number 1 because, despite competition offering objectively more compelling options in terms of hardware, for nearly 5 years now, Samsung offer a better experience or simply people just enjoy their products, no fuss, no muss. I personally think all these "enhancements" sound great on paper, 16GB RAM, 6000mah battery, 65W charging etc, but do any of them actually benefit me tangibly? I can't honestly say they would right now. But others are free to make their opinions, but do it with your money and maybe Samsung would change. Unfortunately though, if sales continue being in Samsung's favour over the "competition", it indicates these "upgrades" aren't truly a compelling reason for switching as these people think.

Samsung have always been a leader of bringing the best tech, but that's what competition is for.

Sorry, but even Google recommends minimum 16GB RAM already NOW for AI on-device

Really? Not from what Gemini tells me. It's recommended RAM requirements say 8 to 12GB. My S25 Ultra seems to have no problems with Gemini Nano, not even compared to my 16GB RAM S21 Ultra. Care to show me the evidence 16GB is a minimum requirement?

Samsung f**d everything up this time. Too much confidence I guess.

That doesn't say 16GB RAM is the minimum for AI or Gemini for that matter, it says trends, meaning a lot of brands are going 16GB+ RAM. The kind of recommendations aren't aimed for androids present level of AI (not on a phone level at least).

Apple or Google. I can't believe my Samsung S24 ultra is sharing the same software as LG Velvet
