What I don't really understand is if all these alternatives are doing so much better, why aren't these people buying them and just leaving Samsung.

I am sorry, but last time I checked, your name was not on my debit or credit card. 

You are choosing the wrong target. As a customer, I am 100% free to explain my frustrations according to my expectations and the advertising made buy the company.  

You are free to share your point of few, but not to qualify mine of over-exageration or whatever. 

We use our phone for different reasons and purposes. Let's be humble and acknowledge that we don't have the same issues. Here is a public space for customers to explain what is going wrong.

Capitalism at it finest. At least, the should have communicated about it. The argument of them sending betas to fix things first doesn't mean anything.  You are probably right. It's all about business not the customers.

Indeed, BTW I am just amazed that a friend's apple iphone 11 received an update yesterday and let me check whether any samsung products (from the same time) are still on the one ui 6.

Probably my last high end samsung s24 ultra. 

Peace, the market is a cruel place, things even out in the long term sooner or later. 

Any intentional malicious activities be developers won't go unnoticed.
