Don't hold your breath on them fixing the battery drain issue on the s25 because the s21 up to the s25 has had the same stupid battery drain issues and that's been over 4 years! They don't care and/or don't know how to fix it. I seen the features they implemented in one UI 7 to "resolve" the battery issues are things like giving up more options to stop our phones from charging at different percentages to save the battery. That will do nothing because I already have mine set to stop at 80. That doesn't do anything but maybe make the battery last longer in "years" and not any longer with each charge. Also they implemented other features to "resolve" it but the features look empty. I wish it were true but with their track record it's veryyyyyy doubtful. I'm not trying to be Davy downer I'm just being realistic. I wish it were true so badly. But if battery's are weak now from the excessive charging ppl obviously have been doing due to fast battery drain then damage is done. Which I'm sure will be majority of the case. I don't see how it can get better unless they start putting 6k milliamp, batteries in their phones, which prob would still drain fast number 1, and number 2, I'm sure a lot of ppl are done buying their phones. Man I know I am. Also, it probably won't resolve the well known, horrible notorious, and exclusive to the YouTube app, battery drain and excessive heat issues with said phones above either. So many reports of the YouTube app destroying battery life and temps on all the s series phones. That's something youtube needs to resolve and they don't look like they even care about that at all. If you stay positive about it, hey that's awesome! You are better than I. I just lost all hope. They have burned me with 3 phones with their, "awesome long battery life" advertising they put on EVERY new phone they released. Can you believe they say these phones get around 17 HOURS of video streaming on their advertisements?! Some even more! Just straight up lies with every new phone!  I do wish you the best though.

There is a well known battery drain issue with the s series phones. People including me have to put our phones on low profile mode. Lower resolution. Lower the refresh rate hrz. Lower screen brightness. I had to turn data saver on. Only then did it help. And only some. It does ok now but we shouldn't have to disable features on $1200 phones. One thing going on with the s24 and now the s25 phones, is the YouTube app draining battery fast and causing excessive heat temps in a short amount of time on these phones. It's only the YouTube app causing the extremely fast heat and battery drain. That's up to YouTube to fix though and they are not interested in fixing that. So many ppl complaining about that on reddit and samsung members. People have been complaining about the bad battery issues on samsung phones though for a while now. The s21 and up all had people complaining about batteries not lasting long. Ive been burned 3 times by samsung.  I fell for their, "awesome long battery life" advertisements on 3 phones! LIES! I thought with each new phone that, "hmm maybe this year they fixed or improved it." Nope! I can't even believe they put "17 hours of video streaming" on their advertisements. When in reality ppl are actually getting 4, 5, and 6 hours. Maybe 7. I get 5 to 7 and no more. It's nuts. If you received a phone with awesome battery life, we'll hey awesome for you. You should definitely be great full. A lot of us didn't. That's good you did though. Now I'm reading a lot of ppl with the s25 having the same battery issues. I know one thing. I, as well as quite a bit of ppl are done purchasing samsung phones. For 4 years they haven't even seemed like they even care this is an issue or just don't know how to fix it. The worst part is in those 4 years, they not once have admitted there is an issue. That's what upsets ppl the most. I wish you well!

Really? My last 3 (S23, S24 and now S25 Ultras) all managed 10+ hours SoT perfectly fine despite this alleged YouTube battery drain you seem to think is "common". So I'm either the luckiest person in the world or you're not fully informed of the reality. I have screenshots of almost all my 26 battery cycles of my S25 Ultra now, all but 1 managed well over 10h SoT with YouTube prominently as one of the highest screen on time usages. If there's an "issue" with it, I'm certainly not seeing it. I'm using nothing special, no power saving, no light mode, no 0% screen brightness, adaptive 120Hz, WQHD+, 5G/WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC all on 24/7. And heating, I struggle to get anything resembling warm using YouTube out of mine. Please show me how you manage it as I could use the heat in this cold weather.

I have the s24 ultra. Brand new and i had to lower resolution and lower screen brightness and turn on low profile mode and turn on data saver. Doing all of that helped but we shouldn't have to do that. It's pathetic on a $1200 phone we have to disable the awesome features. I have one UI 6 as well. People say one UI 7 is supposed to fix the issues but I tell those ppl to not hold their breath because the s21 up to the s25 has had the same stupid battery drain issues and that's been over 4 years! So long, To me this is just business, they need to sell the S25, so they need to postpone the upgrade to the S24, so people will invest in the S25

I know, but it's competitive, so you have to show that you can do better.

So you would rather software that is not yet stable is released? Imagine the uproar......

As has been said on this forum dozens of times (but people don't listen because it doesn't suit their negativity and argument) THERE IS NO BENEFIT TO SAMSUNG HOLDING SOFTWARE BACK WHEN IT IS STABLE AND READY TO RELEASE.

At the moment it isn't stable and isn't ready for release. Samsung have many different types of device so it isn't a simple create and pop it on scenario. Software takes a lot of engineering to ensure it will work on every device when Samsung doesn't have control over the millions of different android apps out there.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.
