I have s24ultra and I paid 1200$ for

This device mostly because Samsung

Promised timely updates for 7 years.

So if you don't value your customers 

Because of some marketing plan which is dumb, to have Ui7 only on the s25 and not the s24 series, I can see the future when I switch to Apple 

Ecosystem. People buy products

For their previous experiences, not the next ones Samsung :[[[

I received my S24 Ultra in December and got it from Germany.

I have loved this phone especially for the cameras and the AI features, considering I upgraded from an A51 4G and have never looked back.

Some people on the S24 Ultra subreddit have received the update, not sure whether it is stable or beta.

I have been a Samsung fanboy for years, it's a shame they haven't rolled out ONE UI 7 yet for the S24 Ultra.

If this behavior continues, I may have to consider switching to an iPhone or a Pixel (decisions I would not really want to make)

Totally agree with you. Did you see the members' notice regarding applying for the up-to-date ONEUI7 I went thru all the process only to be informed they had had enough members apply, it's crazy

If you don’t criticize companies when necessary, they won’t provide you with quality service. If you stay silent, they will think everything is fine. Do you get mobile phones for free? While new companies release updates, the fact that Samsung struggles with bugs shows that they haven’t been able to gain experience over the years.

Exactly.  I agree with you 100%.  Some people just want us to shut up. None of these phone are free. When these companies don't comply with the will and interest of customers we have to complain.  Actually, this is how they know they need to improve the service. S24 ultra 512gb was almost $1500. In mid February 2025 we're still using Android 14 One Ui6.1
