Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

Just updated my s24 plus 4 days ago and OMG the battery drains so fast it's ridiculous. Used to get about 24 hours on moderate use and now I get 4 if I am lucky.

So what can we/Samsung do now to fix  battery problem after update ??

Is there any fix for the horrendous battery life, it's not been the best but the one ui 6.1 January update made the phone amazing to where I could get like 8.5hr screen on time between charges then the Feb update reverted to the 4 to 5hr mark, march was worse, then the one ui 7 hit and the phone can barely be called mobile, I'm lucky to get 3 hours of screen on time now, android auto cooks the phone and the batterys like it's powering a vaccume cleaner so try not to use it

Iv cleared the system cache, deleted any new apps, used the guardians app, 

restarted it 

Nothing iv tried has fixed this

Have you checked the forums at all? The battery will be in calibration for 14 days; however, yours seems very extreme. Are all apps up to date?

It could also be a rogue app—any installed besides the update?

It may be worth backing up via Smart Switch to a PC, then doing a factory reset.

Thanks, I got the update on the 10th or 11th of April, so its past the 14 days then the patch on the 28th and it's no better, il give the reset rout a go but you shouldn't have to go to such lengths

Ui7 is garbage , I'm gutted I've updated my phone , I hate this version, and it's killing my battery 🤦‍♂️

I got the same updates and my battery is the same, hopefully samsung fix it

I have an S23Ultra and since the update my phone has went to the dogs per se. A lot slower and the battery doesn't even last 1/3 of the day now. I used to get a full day out of it no problem.

For battery to drop so quickly, there must be a rogue app that is running in the background taking up all your juice

Can you see what apps are using the most battery?

Also go to:

Settings
Device Care

And click on the blue button which probably says good. It will close background apps

Iv been doing it daily, and none of the apps show any big battery drain, only one that does use power like it's going out of fashion is the android auto/ Google maps, but I try keep away from using it as the phone heats up like a ovan and drinks the battery, I'm going to try the factory reset when I get a spare day and hope
