@bloomtooth: What happens when you attempt to download or update an app via the Google Play Store? Do you get any error messages or notifications?
In the meantime, please head to Settings > Security and privacy > Updates > Google Play system update, and check for any available updates which might address the issue.
I also recommend heading to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache, then restart your phone to see if this helps.

I am having the same issues with my S22 Ultra after I installed the newest update. I get an immediate error when trying to update any app though the Google Play app. I verified that my phone is fully updated, as well as the Google Play app itself, and I cleared the cache of both the Google Play App and thr Google Play services app prior to a restart of the phone. Still no luck updating or downloading any new app from the store.
any advice?
