ONE UI 6.1 (BASED ON 6.1.1) BEEN HALTED

Hi everyone, so samsung halted and paused update of 6.1.1 for s23 series s24 ultra etc due to issue with s23 ultra camera zoom and other bugs, s24 ultra had no reported issues after update but they decided to pause it for those who's still waiting for update to double check their work and double check on everything hopefully their resume it soon. For those who's still waiting with s24 ultra etc keep in mind samsung removed official 3gb update from their servers until they think it's safe to release it again. So now all you have to do is wait. Hope it's any help.

What if I downloaded it but never installed it?

I guess you have 1 update pending to install. Haha. But right how they fixed "bugs" on s24 models and unpaused update i got it and i can confirm no bugs smoother more features etc

Sure, but wouldn't I be installing the "bad" update that way? Isn't there a way to delete it and download anew when available?

If you s24 ultra user there was pretty much no reported bugs they paused it because of s23 ultra models with multiple bugs so they were like "ohh s24 ultra could have some of that so let's just press pause button for all of that since s24 ultra still the best S series flagship " and I think if you did install it "the bad one" they sent other update to fix issues for those who had ones. It's still paused for s23 ultra.

Yea, S24U here. I just don't feel like risking it cuz I saw quite a few people here reporting issue on their ultras after that update. : /

Yeah was waiting for mine one for ages everyone around me got it then they paused it and just few days ago just got update i do believe "fixed one" no issues battery life better, AI features, just to name few things. But yeah depends on when you got the update tho. S24 ultras had pretty much no issues with update like I've mentioned above but samsung thought they paused just in case and double check if everything okay. I think you should go ahead and install it. They will release security patch and fix fir September anyways they started now but mine was delayed so I guess September patch will come in some time as well, but once again there's samsung tech support and you can go through samsungs member app press support and report if somethings wrong with your phone and developers will respond

if it affects the camera I have a s24 ultra and my zoom was choppy but did a catch partition and than was clear as day so I don't want 6.1.1 either till they fix it, that said hopefully it fixes the clearing the catch on google apps and samsung apps that run all the time since September 10 update this issue started anyone else notice this

there was two updates one was September 10th that I noticed my s 24 ultra is acting up again..but being said the update was 3 gb and shows ui 6.1 but..... now their is no way at all go to to apps in settings and go to storage and clear the catch on the apps you choose to clear catch??? its the google apps and samsung apps doing this issue, I did hear googles platform from a you tuber who was a samsung software engineer says samsung hasn't been the best of to customers with update on 14 ui 6.1 they just want them rushed out and less testing??? if true I hope this catches up with samsung with 15 ui 7.0 and fails I shoved out 1828 dollars for a titanium blue 1 tb s 24 ultra I feel is the worst device I ever used ever..

But what about users like me who already updated to 6.1.1 software as soon as it was available on the day iPhone 16 launched? It showed me available and I downloaded and installed it immediately
