Unhappy customer.
Owned my S24 ultra now for 3 months there shouts, already getting the oleophobic coating coming off. Sad to say as I do the phone in one pocket keys/wallet in the other.
Another kick in the teeth being stung saying it's not covered because it's wear and tear yet other posts I see say their older Samsung's were repaired straight away, after owning for 2 months. Honestly what nonsense is this....
I pay for a premium device, flagship and my other branded android phone hasn't lost any screen coatings at all.
For shame Samsung, I'll not be purchasing another Samsung phone or tablet again.

Yeah, when I saw the store in person they said "it's normal" heck no is it normal for a few weeks old phone.....

It's obvious that either, nobody from Samsung ever reads these forums or they just play dumb. As much as this may be considered just a cosmetic issue, it's not compatible with such an expensive device. This may just be my last Samsung.

Contacted Samsung customer service in Dubai and was told that it is not covered in normal one year warranty and no fix other than change of screen which will cost around 800 Dirham.

I got the same bs answer from Samsung Canada. So disappointed with Samsung and how they disrespect their customers by selling us a faulty product and not covering the cost of repairs under their warranty.

Since it's an outer coating and could be damaged by normal usage, Samsung should have warned customers to be cautious when cleaning the screen with alcohol contented sanitizer or stuff like that. I believe even the user manual doesn't mention it...

I'm just glad to see others having this problem, it's such a shame for a pricey device that was only 3 months old at the time to have the coatings fail, and badly. makes me sad that if this happens to others in less than 3 months where's Samsung's testing on these types of things, saying that they tout about it so heavily in marketing!
Not only that I wish they'd just acknowledge it and say it's not covered but we will investigate and try to fix it for a future model.
No other device I've had with coatings have come off in 3 months micro scratches yes but not the coatings!

Same here S24 Ultra that I take Immaculate care of and the anti-glare coating is wearing off simply from touching the screen. Around my fingerprint scanner as well as the main area of the screens where I touch is worn off in a pattern. I just posted on Reddit regarding how samsung, Google and Apple have somewhat of a monopoly on Western consumers and they have no problem exploiting that. First I've been doing quite a bit of research and there are multiple Chinese devices that are so far ahead of Samsung Google and apple as far as camera and battery and charging speeds that in normal circumstances companies that actually had competition would be panicking.. Samsung Google and Apple no there are not advertisements allowed in the United States for OnePlus xiaomi Huawei Vivo, honor. Samsung Google and apple are fully aware they just have to do the bare minimum for each upgrade cycle and people will still run out and buy their devices especially considering the amount of money they pump into marketing.. the OnePlus 13 Was one of the first devices with the With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Which can be picked up for fairly inexpensive And then simply flashed with the global ROM And I've seen multiple reviews of the three camera system all three 50 megapixel Sensors Completely outperforming the s24 ultra. If you look at the Vivo X200 Pro Based on the fact that The s25 Ultra is only going to upgrade one of the Tiny Periscope sensors and not do both of them I recommend people stop rewarding Samsung.. it's tough to recommend people buying from communist China but if you haven't looked at the honor magic V3, or the Vivo xfold 3 Pro they're both foldable phones that have cameras that are darn near as good as anything the companies that sell in America make.. the honor magic V3 has a massive battery a good camera and is the thinnest thing I've ever seen.. as far as candy bar style phones the Vivo X200 Pro, Oppo find X8 Pro both well outperform the s25 ultra when it's released.. and the X200 Pro from Vevo is not even there flagship phone 6 months from now they're releasing the Vivo X200 Ultra which has a camera that rivals everything.. last year's X100 Ultra still dominates over all devices. They have true 1-in sensors and a 200 megapixel telephoto that takes 20x Zoom photos that you cannot tell are zoomed it looks like you're taking a picture of someone standing next to them. That is not being overstated.. we know that Samsung apologized for not innovating because they were 900 million under their estimated profits so I say everyone use their money to buy some of these devices that are truly Innovative from China which will put pressure on Samsung and force them to stop creating devices with tiny upgrades calling them new and amazing simply so they can make massive profits.. just as Apple has made the identical shaped iPhone since the iPhone 11 Samsung decided they were going to make their lower model phones look like an iPhone that hasn't changed since 2019? It's truly mind-boggling..
Also believe it or not the media Tech 9400 processor that is in those devices is a 3 nanometer chip that isn't quite as fast as the Snapdragon 8 Elite on processing but completely destroys the Snapdragon 8 Elite and gaming and graphics.. both the 9400 and the eight Elite are insane on battery life as well.. the Snapdragon 8 Elite is 40% faster at single core and multicore and the 9400 is just slightly off of that but as soon as you throw graphical tasks at the 9400 it wins the race

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. I tried and it doesn't fix the issue.

Did you try the actual oil you can get from Aliexpress, or the products you can buy off Amazon, which are generally junk?
