Oleophobic coating coming off - S24 Ultra

Unhappy customer.

Owned my S24 ultra now for 3 months there shouts, already getting the oleophobic coating coming off. Sad to say as I do the phone in one pocket keys/wallet in the other.

Another kick in the teeth being stung saying it's not covered because it's wear and tear yet other posts I see say their older Samsung's were repaired straight away, after owning for 2 months. Honestly what nonsense is this....

I pay for a premium device, flagship and my other branded android phone hasn't lost any screen coatings at all.

For shame Samsung, I'll not be purchasing another Samsung phone or tablet again.

When I look through a Magnifying glass there are no signs of scratched or abrasions. It's like the "coating" (just the darker area) has worn away but glass is fine. Had a screen protector on it until 3 days ago. I took it off but the other protector was cracked. So while I'm waiting on the new one to arrive I find these "smudge marks" but they don't come off. I work from home and I always put phone in pocket that doesn't have keys or change in them. 90% of the time it's laying on a desk. This is *****! It's definitely the "anti reflective" coating wearing off. I've seen others with the same ***** issue. 2 phone in two years with screen issues. S23u the laminated part on bezel at top of display pulled apart under the glass. Samsung denied covering it. I ordered the s24u and now this. It's supposed to be the toughest my scratch resistant screens in the world of smartphones. I should be able to have keys or change in my pocket without a scratching based on test done on this phone and what Samsung claims. I'm not doing this anymore Samsung. I'll go to Apple. Probably the main reason why Apple hasn't moved to this technology.

I have the issue on my phone as well. Anybody up for a class action lawsuit?

I have been running this phone naked since purchase. Yes the oliophobic did not last very long, but this is the best glass they have ever put on a phone. Not a single scratch not even a micro scratch. It has survived a drop no cracking. I can deal with some oleophobic loss for having a screen that does not scratch or crack. Clean the screen really good with whoosh and then put a little rain-X on it. Two coats and it will be oleophobic and slippery as hell.

We're obviously not talking about the same issue. My glass is not scratched, but it certainly looks like it is. That along with the stains DO NOT disappear with any magic products.

I am having the same issue. The phone is 2 months old.  I have never had this issue on any other phone...

Yet Samsung DON'T want to take ownership of the issue.

So no one got it repaired by Samsung? I will contact Samsung next week, maybe I will have more luck.

Nope. They claim it's not their issue and that it was caused by me damaging the screen. Asked if I used any chemicals to clean the glass or if I dropped the phone. They claim to have no other complaints about this issue and act dumb about it.

I'm dealing with the same issue, although in my case the spots are a lot bigger (thus more noticeable). The screen itself is definitely not scratched, it appears to be that the anti-reflective coating has come off.
