The object eraser provides a good way of removing undesired objects from a pictures.

Results will depend on the complexity of removal.

This is a simple test I did and the final result is not bad.

I hope you will also find it interesting.

This is a step by step, photo, and all editing done on Galaxy S24 Ultra

 

Open the image in Gallery. Tap the pencil to edit the picture.

Open ImageOpen Image

 

Tap the four circles menu.

Tap Object eraser.

Tap or draw object to erase (tap dog).

Tap Erase.

Tap Done.

Tap Object eraser (again to remove shadows).

Tap Erase shadows and when finish Done.

Tap the 3 vertical dots menu.

Tap save a copy (to preserve the original).

Agree! Today have noticed, that on my Samsung s24 object eraser works much worse than on my Samsung s20 😖

It does a brilliant job but in very large removals it's not really worth ding as you can see some distortion. Here's an image I have literally edited to death. It was daylight, no quasimodo, loads of tourists in front & changed the sky.Enhance_X_1000071573_1733504595.jpg
