Hi all

I have set up my new S24 ultra. When I set up my new phone, I have uploaded the apps and settings from my previous device S10 5G.

I am watching videos and I realised that not all the features such as widgets and notification screen do not includes as in the videos. I would like to as whether I have faced this issue due to setting up my new phone by transferring from my old device or itis regional update variations? How can I solve this issue?

How did you move your information from your old phone to your new phone ?

SmartSwitch maybe 🤔 

I personally use Samsung Cloud which moves everything across apart from my Gallery to which then I only use SmartSwitch.

Also, only apps that support 64bit will transfer and work on your new phone

I do not know how it is called but I have transferred all data by touching two phones together. All the wallpapers, photos, apps and information have transferred and I did not need any more settings.

I watch some videos about the features of new samsung and I tried to use new Samsung S24 ultra widgets such as new notification bar, widgets... but I cannot find them. I read a bit and I realised that my version is still U.I 6.1, but I read that new update U.I. 6.1.1 released in September. It may be related to the version. When I tried up to date my phone, it didn't have any update.

Thank you. All apps works well but some new features are not available for my phone such as new widgets or lock screen swipe tools.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

We in here generally recommend, when setting up a new device, to download apps from the Play Store again rather than use SmartSwitch.

This is (as @Tourbillon De La Vie has explained) because many apps have different versions depending the device.

Best to get the right version 👍

I think I cannot update my version. I bought the phone with device deal by IDMobile and it was delivered from Curry's. How can I see my phone is banned and is it possible to solve it to get newest version?

To be honest, my problem is the One UI version. My device has UI 6.1 and can not detect any newer version. I have read the community page. The problem might my account be banned.

I bought my phone from Currys. Even though I read the community, I could not find any solution for it.
Could you help me?

6.1 is the latest one ui version. What account banning are you talking about
