Not able to share attachments on WhatsApp like I was able to with S20+

Hi All, I upgraded last week to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra from a S20+. On my old phone, if I got sent a PDF or Word document by WhatsApp I would go to Share and Export on WhatsApp and then Send a Copy via my email to any other email address and it worked flawlessly. 

Since I have changed over to the S24 Ultra this does not work. It seems like the email is sent from my Gmail but it does not actually get sent. 

Can someone help me with this.

I just tried on mine and it worked.
Check if your apps are up to date and your Internet connection is good.

Maybe one of the first steps to try is clearing the apps vache via Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Clear Cache @ShasPer

Thanks a mil for the replies. I cleared the cache but it unfortunately still does nto work for me. I have both a good wifi and 5G connections where I am presently. 

Another other advise would be appreciated.

Is it worth just going through your permissions in the apps etc @ShasPer

Hi, even I'm having the same problem on my S24 ultra. Not getting any option to select more than one document (file or img) and share via email. I tried all suggestions shared in the chat, no luck so far.

When I select more than one file only "forward to other WhatsApp contacts" option shows up.
