No Shutter Sound option?

I have an S24 Ultra, I'm in the UK

I've noticed there is no option to turn off the camera shutter sound in the camera settings?

Am I the only one? 

Can anyone confirm this for me or explain why?

Is it a region based option?

Samsung da una solución global pero poco efectiva si además de querer quitar el sonido del obturador, quieres mantener el sonido del navegador que utilices para las indicaciones de conducción. Mala decisión de decidir quitar el sonido del sistema y, por consiguiente, ninguna aplicación de navegación colo GooMaps o Waze tienen sonido para comunicarse contigo. El todo o nada es una mala decisión de Samsung.

I don't want ro disable all system sounds. Why should I have to. Its ridiculous. For the price of these bloody things how hard can it be to add the option. Really don't get the thinking behind that. Or the no thinking behind it should I say 🤔

Probably a port over from South Korea since they have a strict law there to have all phones make sound whenever it captures a picture. This law was enacted due to high crime rate related to sexual secret filming in there.

Doesn't really protect anyone as you can still take pictures silently by disabling sound and vibration. It's weird
