No September security update?

Its September 21st and my S24 ultra is still on August security patch. Normally i get it by the 10th or 11th of the month.

The US already got the September security update around 15 days ago

The patch updates in the US are different to here.
Not sure why it's not been sent out. Could be it just gets updated with the October update

No one in the UK has it yet.

Why do people get so excited about this? Samsung will release when it is tested and ready.

I'm not excited. I'm just wondering why. Because i normally get every month on the 10th or 11th. It seemed weird i didn't get one already.

Samsung are variable. I've known security patches arrive on the 1st and the 31st of a month. They are certainly not regular on 10th/11th in the UK.

They also undertook a major OS upgrade this month affecting 10's of millions of devices which has been their focus hence a slight delay in September Security Patch release.

Samsung has pulled out the 6.1(1) update for the s24 ultra, it can no longer be downloaded anywhere, I read it on the xda forum 🤔

I've read this for the S23 Series but not for the S24 Series.....

And apparently, the s22 series as well. But i got it on my s22 ultra so probably fake news
