NO Improved selfie wide angle s24 ultra

I believe that the selfie camera has no real wide angle on s24 ultra.

I own and been very happy with s22 Ultra

Was hoping this issue would be sorted thus avoiding the need to carry a selfie stick or downloading 3rd party camera app (unhappy re safety) If you want to take group shots or like me as a solo traveller  it is poor from developers in my opinion.

Will probably tip me NOT  to upgrade this year

Well...can alway use the S pen to trigger the photo then you can fully stretch out your arm and / or use the rear facing cameras...

@Topman53: The front camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a Field of Vision (FOV) of 80 degrees, which is very similar to the Wide Camera FOV on the rear camera module (at 85 degrees). With this in mind, you shouldn't need a selfie stick, and will be able to take group selfies with relative ease.

I have used the s pen for some shots ie placing the camera on a stand / rock etc but it's a lot more faff for group shots when other phones offer a wider photo on a hand held basis
Keen to upgrade to s24 ultra but still not convinced as yet

Hi Andrew thanks for your reply. I have used other phones for selfies and I'm afraid i still find the S22 fall short in comparison
