NFC Scanning

I posted a week or so ago about battery drain issue

After speaking to Samsung I've received my new phone today as they agreed something was amiss with it.

I also noticed that my NFC scanning was hit and miss so out it down to my last S24 Ultra being faulty as I require tye NFC to scan my Freestyle Libre Diabetic monitor

But it's still hit and miss with this new one, my previous S23 Ultra would pick it up immediately but I'm finding myself waving every inch of my phone over my Freestyle Libre and even then it often doesn't scan properly so have to do it again.

It's not my UAG case as I've tried it with no case.

Anyone else had this issue with the S24 Ultra ?

I use the NFC to make contactless payments and it's working inches away from the contactless machine. It's a shame you have this problem and you really need yours to work well. Have you tried to contact Samsung about it?

I thought it was because my initial S24 Ultra was faulty but this replacement is doing the same thing

I also use the contactless payment and it works fine. It could be a software bug. Thursday might be the solution to a few problems.

Could it actually be an issue with the Freestyle Libre and not the phone? Maybe they haven't updated their end yet given the S24 Ultra is less than a month old?

I've got to change the sensor every 2 weeks and since owning the S24 Ultra I've used 3 sensors and all same results

I just asked someone who uses  Freestyle Libre and also has an S24 base model and they have the same issue when taking a manual measurement via NFC. On their previous phone, S21 base model, it work everytime.

This is the problem I'm facing, S21, S22, S23 Ultra no issues at all, only this one

It's not letting me either.  Takes a long time to actually catch a reading. Nothing like the s21 ultra I had.  It worked right away.
