Samsung is the only one that give that answer with certainty. There have been some posts on X the the web that a firmware update is imminent, but that it is grapevine information.
It is not crazy to think that indeed a firmware upgrade is coming soon. They have done it before with previous releases, but I do not think that anybody in here will have accurate information about this, unless they work for Samsung and have some inside information.

I'm think in view of some issues being highlighted.
It may not be till later in month if the fix takes a while to rectify
But you never know

The battery will fix itself after the learning period. The first days, battery usage seems crazy, but after the learning period is over, the battery settles and that excessive drain disappear.
Of course, they might also release some optimisation for the battery, it has happen before,

If the S24 series is anything like previous ones, then it is perfectly normal. My S22 Ultra was using battery a lot and I was getting very little SOT. After the learning period my phone was fine despite me, using bright mode, max resolution, and enable every single functionality that made the Ultra an Ultra.
After almost two years of use, I do not need to charge my phone everyday unless I have some heavy use.

I cured my battery drain by clearing the cache, I think my drain was due to using smart switch when upgrading from my S23+, now the phone is a lot better on the battery.
