Just wondering if anyone found a solution or if a fix is in the works ? I just bought the Snapdragon S24 Plus Nov. 5th. 2024 T Mobile US and I have had weak signal around -106 dbm from the get go..and recently as low as -115 or -122 I have been able to use my go5g Plus unlimited premium data plan and I use alot of data but lately I am now experiencing missed calls, dropped calls and buffering or slow page loading.
I have done literally everything possible to trouble shoot except trying a new SIM card through another carrier.
My provider says I am not being throttled and I believe them now as this issue is starting to appear more frequently. God I hope this isn't planned obsolescense.
I really want to stick with Samsung but if this is what $1000 gets me Apple might be better after all. Gosh I can't believe I said that. Now you know I'm frustrated.
Please help Samsung.

Hello 👋 @Chris6622 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum Section for Uk and Ireland members.
As your in America it might be beneficial to also submit your post in your own regions section of the Samsung Community Forum Section for a more appropriate detailed response. 👍
In regards to your issue it is a good troubleshooting step to try your sim card in another phone, and another sim card in your phone and then see what happens.
The Network can be reset via Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Mobile Network Settings.
There is also a Diagnostic Tool 🔧 found in the Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything.
Ultimately look at any relevant Cooling Off Period to have the phone swapped out if necessary.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Thank you. I didnt know there were areas I will adjust accordingly. Yes I have done literally everything.
I have a Perplexity Pro AI subscription which includes the top 6 AI search engines in it and have streamlined this phone to the Nth degree. Only a few necessary apps are allowed background priviliges, any unnecessary apps have been disabled or uninstalled or minimized as much as possible through restricted battery access, denied permissions and background priviliges, virtual ram has been disabled etc. etc.
I have done network resets, partition cache wipes, carrier resets/refresh, switched back and fourth from 5g to LTE, replaced the eSIM with a physical SIM.. etc.etc. and have really only 2 options left which are to try my SIM in my other phone or a new SIM from another carrier.
Unfortunately its not looking good.
Others have contacted me and said even after sending their phone to Samsung for antenna repair/replacement it didn't help at all....so its looking like the 2024 S series are compromised.
Its starting to look like I picked a bad year to buy a $1000 phone.

Omg....that is great news. I really hope that is true because then its fixable. I am relieved to hear this very, let us cross our fingers because that is the most fixable scenario possible.
Thank you. 🙃

Hi, Thanks Snapper99, I'll be honest I'm trying to put that option off until I've tested my Sim card in my old phone to rule out my carrier as it turns out they mistepresented the coverage in my area so it might be a little them providing a weak signal and a little Samsung for selling downgraded phones which would benefit the carriers by proxy.
If my SIM signal is stronger in my old phone then I can rule out my carrier and I will know its the device.
As you can imagine I don't want to deal with thre headache of reconfiguring all my phone settings and downloading all my data again if I don't have to.
I will keep you guys posted on my findings. I really aporeciate all you guys giving me feedback. My phone is working just at a very low level. For instance to upload a single pic takes like 2 minutes...arrggghh
Hopefully Samsung and the carriers didn't get together to kack us all of our data plans by downgrading our signal strength and to encourage sales of new devices.
It wouldn't be the first time these companies did this to us.

I hope so! We dont have update released in Aus yet- mines 6.1.
My old A55 performed better than this thing! I'm close to trading it for something else!
