Hi all,
I've had my Galaxy S24+ now for a few days now and noticed intermittent issues of the navigation buttons not responding. I know it isn't a screen sensitivity / touch issue as I see the button highlight and get the haptic feedback. This seems to be most prominent on the recent apps button.
I've tried switching to gestures and back again, multiple reboots of the phone and ram plus settings etc., to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, have any workarounds or rectification suggestions?
Thanks.

I find on my s24 ultra the screen to be more sensitive than my s21 ultra.
Also smudges on screen can affect the navigation or dry fingers.
Not to mention the phone being new it still needs a couple of really good updates to sort out some of the niggles.

Do you have a magsafe type case fitted?
The magnets can interfere with the screen response
Also do you have a screen protector on. Some protectors are not the best quality

Thanks for the feedback. Cleanliness of screen has no impact and doesn't seem to be a touch sensitivity issue as the screen registers the touch, just sometimes doesn't bring up the open / recent apps selection.

Thanks for getting back to me. No magsafe case fitted or screen protector. The screen registers the touch interaction (button highlights and haptic feedback), but relevant action doesn't appear / function. Phone doesn't seem as snappy as I would expect either.
