I received the S24 Watch Offer today after 54 days.

It came on the Monday after I got a email from Samsung on Friday saying ''Your Samsung Fast Start reward is on its way to you''.

The logistics company was Ingram Micro Services Ltd and it was delivered by Royal Mail. 

When I bought a Google Pixel phone on 2022 with a similar watch offer. I got the watch from Google after  10 days of buying the phone.

I won't be buying from Samsung again. Back to the trusty albeit boring iPhone Pro model when they release the latest model in September.

I was told I couldn't claim due to previous claims not being able to verify 🥲 ended up buying a watch second hand but didn't keep it in the end so not too fussed

I appreciate your frustration at having to wait for the free promotional Samsung Watch⁶ @samhuss1 ,however i assume you received the phone in good time which is the primary device. 

If promotions are really popular then connected promotional items can suffer delays. 

However which avenue you wish to take innthe future I wish you all the best.

That maybe so and 54 days waiting for a watch offer - given the suffering in the world right now is a 'first world problem'. I fully get that. 

But I don't like being taken as a mug given that I only bought the phone because of the watch offer.

Can I ask when you submitted the claim and when it also got approved? And what was the expected date of arrival for the watch? My S24U arrived on 2nd Feb, the claim got accepted on the same day and it said the watch would come today 18th March. But I guess I have to wait as its still not here.

I bought the phone from O2 as a contract on January 23rd. I submitted the claim on the 25th. I got an email to say my claim was approved within 1 hour of submitting the claim. Which I found to be rather fast. It must be checked by a computer and not a person. 

The expected date of arrival was said to be at the very latest by 11th March.

So if the watch offer wasn't the promotional item that would have been a deal breaker for you. 

I get that totally. 

I wanted the Samsung Watch⁶ Classic which is why I didn't Pre Order ,and waited for a promotion that helped me get that watch. Argos gave 25% off that particular watch as a deal when bought with the phone.

I don't think I've ever made an expensive purchase based solely on a free gift. Sort of reminds me of an old english proverb, which I can't quite put my finger on 🤔

I'm a doctor. I'm paid very well and I do like my gadgets. My problem is a first world problem. I totally get that. But keeping your customer waiting 54 days is not acceptable.

Mine was also stated to be sent on the 11th but still no confirmation of postage
