Hi @callyhall80
For how long have you had the phone? Was the phone working fine and suddenly started doing this?
Is the vibration constant or it is similar to notifications?
I think that it is fair to say that this is not a common issue. Please give us as much details as you can.
Have you tried clearing cache partition?

You could also report a problem from the Members app.

I am assuming that you are having random vibrations similar to receiving a notification.
Have you installed a new app?
Have you tried the suggestion on the link provided by @Fiona26?
You could try clearing the cache partition, please remember that you will need to connect the phone to computer or another phone to get into the recovery menu.

and then boot the phone on safe mode:

and check if the issue persists.

@callyhall80: Please try heading to Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings > Notification history, and toggle this option on.
Next time the random vibration occurs, head back to Notification history, and check to see if any apps or features are listed that correspond with the issue.

I have been experiencing this same problem for the past 2 days and have also jumped through all the notification hoops that have been suggested.

Mine has started vibrating one buzz what seemed randomly since the update. I finally figured out that it was happening every time my location updated. Still can't figure out how to turn it off but that's why it's happening.
