After doing a manual reset, my mobile doesn't register my network so I am left without a signal.

One day it took over one hour to register network.

There are no network issues in my area.

I switched my mobile off and let it rest for a few seconds and same issue of no network.

I do hope Samsung address these issues.

I would be grateful if this great community can reset their mobiles and see if they are free of my issue or if anyone knows of a fix would be a superstar 🙌🏻

Sometimes, it may be an issue with the sim. I've had the same thing happen to me before i had to contact my network provider in my case EE, and ask why this happened, and they walked me through how to make it work again. I would recommend contacting your network provider.

Just as a troubleshooting step can you try your sim card in the other slot i.e sim slot² please @TheDenny

You could also try these troubleshooting steps.

  • Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  • Run the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything.
  • Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.
  • Try your sim card in another phone and then see what happens.
  • A Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

If the above does not help and your sim works fine in another phone then look at any relevant cooling off period to have the phone swapped out.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

Are you with 3 mobile/iD mobile by any chance?

Yes, was with Three and moved to IDMobile with this new phone. I go for a 12 month sim deal. I used the same sim in my S10Plus and had no issues. Is it a specific issue with Three/Idmobile as its the same network when used on S24Ultra?

Weird thing is that this issue just started a few days ago. Had the S24Ultra since 26th Jan. Thank you for your tips

Yes, ID mobile piggy backs off 3 mobile and their network has been down over the last few days
