Hey folks - a question

Is there a way in either Google Messages App or Samsung Messages App to stop outbound MMS messages from being sent either at all or with a warning / confirmation pop up appearing first? 

A search has proved fruitless so far. I refuse to use RCS so the settings in there don't help.

From what I remember, in samsung messenger,  with rcs turned off, when you start typing it says text in the box but if it's converted to an mms then there was a brief pop up that said mms and you could see in the message box it says mms. 

I haven't used samsung messages since I got the S24 ultra though so I'm not sure if it's changed in the last few months. 

It's the same in google messages, in the text box it says text, but if it's converted to an mms the send arrow now says mms.

You can speak to your network provider and ask then to stop sending MMS

Even with rcs on you can still tell the difference between texts and mms in Google messages.

Yes I know that.

But some emojis for example travel in SMS, others MMS and if you're quick it happens before you realise.

Oh yes, your right there, I've done that myself if I'm to quick hitting send 😬
