A quick test that anyone can do is pan left to right using the video mode via the photo shutter button and then note the jagged lagged frames per second. (Even more noticeable is when you use any of the zoom lens). Then using the same photo on the camera app, do not press record or do not press the shutter button and pan left to right and youll find that there is no lagged frames per second. This leads me to conclude that the issue is the processing on the video mode that is applied after pressing record, that causes the lagged frames per second. There doesnt seem to be a steady motion setting/stabiliser where the video is smoother and has less lag. This might contribute to the motion blur in photos.

I had the s21 and the photos were amazing. I never would have guessed quality would go down with an upgrade. I'm very disappointed. I volunteer at an animal shelter and good pictures get these pets adopted and every photo is blurry 😭

Unfortunately the problem is known, widespread and frequent. Now before I even take photos of children, I already know that it will have big problems and that half of the photos will be blurry... My old note 8 never had this problem. Neither on the Op 7t nor on the various iPhones.... To date no changes solve the problem. They have to copy the algorithm from the pixels.Having 200 megapixels but blurry photos is ridiculous.

It's the same story and the same problem like the S23 - photos i take in auto mode with my S23 are abysmal, there's always a blur area somewhere, not even mentioning slightly moving objects which stand no chance to be captured perfectly. Hopefully they never fix this so that my next smartphone will be a Pixel. I'm already ditching their TVs and going for LG due to QC issues - the king is naked. The photo below comes from Pixel 7 Pro, good luck capturing this with S23:
