I have S24 Ultra 512 Gb bought last year.

Never had any issue. Last week I updated the phone to latest android and One UI.

Since then I am getting moisture error and unable to charge my phone via cable.

I have have cleaned the port thoroughly,  I am sure that there is nothing in the port.

After that tried all the possible options available on Internet and offered by Samsung support but still nothing helps.

Does anyone encountered similar issue ? If yes, how did you solve it?

Is there any way I can contact samsung to fix this?

I had been always a samsung user and this is the first time I am really frustrated and would never buy samsung again

@afhs3621: I'm sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue. If you haven't done so already, please take a look at the troubleshooting steps in the link below, and let me know if this helps.

Hi

Make sure there is no fluff build up in the charging port.

Clean it gently with the flattened tooth pick or soft plastic if there is.

I had that issue on my S21 ultra and it sorted it self out after a month or so.

Until then you should be able to charge your phone wireless which is a pain but doable.

The above only applies if your phone wasn't in contact with water or moisture.

Hi @afhs3621 , welcome to the Samsung Community 😀.   In addition to the Troubleshooting provided with charging issues sometimes it can help if you clear the cache partition but no guarantee.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Otherwise if it can be resolved at the moment and constant wireless charging does not suit would need to get in touch with Support.

Know a few customers have not noticed any debris in charging port but the  Samsung Service centre did detect it. Try using a torch and  toothpick though.

Hi AndrewL

I have tried all the options, cleaning, clearing cache, clearing cache in recovery mode, changing cables, restarting in safe mode, restarting many times etc.

Nothing works at all.

I can see that my port is fine. Because it was working before the update. Once I did the update, this error started to appear.

This is definitely coming from the latest oneUI

My phone is the same, won't charge unless wireless, bought new cables and plug, still saying water detected.
I Assume it's the update, I did have my phone booked in for repair, but seems pretty pointless if it's the update...

Same issue since latest update. Port is cleaned and dry. New cables. Cache cleared. Phone restarted regularly. Maintenance mode carried out. I'm at work and don't have access to a wireless charger. Simply not good enough, and is CLEARLYNan issue with the latest update. Needs sorting, as im on call in a security role.
