Is there a way to stop the Modes & Routines from running location in the background?

I've not set any up.....

You can. change app permissions

Yea I tried to, it won't let me select the app permissions

I see. Didn't realise it is treated as system app (which in retrospect makes sense).  I have some location routines setup and location request come sparingly

It's exactly the same on mine. I've not set up any myself. If I needed too, it would need location permission for modes and routine to work. I wouldn't be too concerned about it though. If neither have been set up, modes and routines will not be running or using location in the background.

Actually thinking about it, it does make a lot of sense, I presume the app needs to know where the device is to perform any set ups the user has. Thank you.
