Mobile not charging after update. 24 ultra

I was updated my mobile yesterday. But unfortunately then my mobile not charging. I tried with my 23 ultra charger and another one. Unfortunately still not working.

Hi @sam500 and warm welcome 👋

Have you checked your phones USB port ans see if there's any debris inside? If so you can try few things.

Clear cache and data from USB:
Settings > apps > Press arrow symbol at the corner > toggle on show system apps and press okay > search for usb settings > storage > clear cache and data

Try safe mode and see if there any 3rd party apps causing this:

Does wireless charging work still 🤔 

Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

Usb reset.
Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device. 

There is also a diagnostic test tool found in the Samsung Members App. 

Feedback directly to Samsung can be sent via your Samsung Members App too. 

Ultimately this might be hardware based and the update itself isn't causing this. 

A Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone if necessary > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/

+1 for me. It seems to have become very fussy about cables. I can try with one cable and it doesn't work. Try with another and it doesn't but that doesn't work all the time.

I've had a good look in the port and there's no pocket dust in it so I've no idea what it is except the update which I applied on the 22nd December. Wireless charging (which I normally use) is fine.

I've tried all the troubleshooting steps I've found online so not sure what's going on. Does seem to be quite a few posts about this problem since the last update.

Hey. Any progress in your case ? You fixed it ? Mine evolved into moisture/foreign body warning. Charging ok wirelesly.
