S22U LDAC in dev options has been working great for ages. Same options with same earphones in S24U won't work. LDAC options greyed out...

Anyone know a fix?

I did this on my S24U and TechnicsAZ60m2 and it works! On Tidal it is better than on the default AAC codec. Thanks.

I hope.

I have Sony WF-1000XM4 and WH-1000XM4 and S24 Ultra doesn't support both.

Welcome to the community forum

What do you mean? You can not connect both, can you?

Connect, yes.
But the sound is tragically shallow. Expensive headphones and the sound is like those $30 headphones.
On my old Galaxy S7 it's great and there's a huge difference. Much better sound quality.
Without LDAC's support, nothing can be done.

Did you check that the LDAC setting is toggle on? The setting has to be enable per device.

The LDAC setting is not on by default, it will use SBC. If you open the Bluetooth setting by pulling down the notification panel, press and hold the Bluetooth icon, select Details. On the list of Bluetooth devices touch the gear setting next to the device and check that the LDAC setting is toggle on.

I have Sony speaker and headphones and they show the option. I think that you might have missed some settings

If you activated the Developer options, there are more audio setting there.

Please note that the headphones have to be connected for the LDAC and audio settings to be active. Otherwise, you may see the settings grey out.

This had to be done on the S22 Series as well. You do it once, but you have to do it. I have the S22 Ultra and I had to do it for the Sony headphones and speakers.

I have the S22 Ultra and Sony WHXB900N Headphones and I only have 16bites, 44.1khz and Qualcomm aptx no HD. That's it. Everything else is greyed out. I have followed every instruction given to me and nothing changes. I do not like this new phone.
