The latest software update (installed 5th May 2025) for my Samsung S24 (so annoyed and disappointed)

Today (well, yesterday actually) I received a notification to install a new software update on my 'only just recently purchased' Samsung S24 mobile phone. Like most Samsung users would do, I agreed to and installed this latest Samsung / Android mobile phone update, thinking that the upgrade would make improvements to my mobile phone etc.

Well, immediately after this new software upgrade installation was completed and my phone restarted and was operational again much regret came upon me. This latest software upgrade by Samsung / Android has completely changed the on screen look and features of my phone (that I've always been use to with Samsung). I seriously regrate ever installing this latest software upgrade and despite my desperate attempts of doing lots of searches online, for ways of rolling-back / reversing this latest software upgrade have all been unsuccessful. If you are a Samsung user, take note here and be warned about this!

Like most customer service help or responses these days being very minimal or totally non-existent, I'm not expecting any help or offer of assistance from Samsung itself or whether this (now, regrettable) software download / upgrade I made, can or will be fixed by Samsung.

Samsung forcing us to iphone? Update sucks. Icons and Time bar have shrunk and the date is missing?

Nope. S21Ultra doesn't have that option.

I've already been considering that. iPhone 15 pro or 13 mini sure looks enticing with this update being as disgusting as it is in some ways.

Just woke up this morning to the forced update. Thr icons changed color and seem.. smaller? Even alphabetical it took me longer to find the clock than before, because it went from purple to white.. I keep opening settings bar because I am right handed and I always just swipe down with my thumb. Now I have to think about stretching my thumb all the way across.  Don't blame Google Android for these changes either Joeeye. One UI sets on top and os thr cosmetic wrap. This can totally be changed or not implemented by Samsung

They changed EVERYTHING and made it terrible.
1. The system responsible for colouring the text for the names of my apps was changed so now they appear wrong (unreadable black text on dark colours).
2. The notifications are way too big.
3. The app switcher has been turned into a 2019 tab manager that obscures the contents of other apps until you swipe them to the middle.
4. Battery optimisation doesn't do anything for battery life and no longer disables 5G.
5. The Bluetooth icon no longer appears in the top bar.
6. The lock screen layout was reset and made weird.
AND I CANNOT GET AI SLOP OUT OF MY FACE!! EVEN WHEN SELECTING TEXT!!!

How do I downgrade? I WANT MY GOOD PHONE BACK. I AM SICK OF THIS

Hi!
Unfortunately, it is impossible to downgrade from One Ui 7. However, most problems like this can be edited with customisation apps or settings.
Thanks!
