I hate One UI 7: how can I restore One UI 6?

I got One UI 7 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and I hate every single change. It is such a big drawback for me, that it's almost a showstopper. I used Galaxy S phone since the S III and I have never been so disappointed.

Is there a way to remove this mess and go back to the previous UI?

Yes! I literally got this update today, used my phone for maybe 10 minutes and after 4 classes of being off the battery dropped to half. Before the update (so yesterday) my phone would go all day with consistent use before dropping that low.

On top of concerns over diminished battery life expressed by others, I just hate the way the notifications menu changed. Having it all in one easily scrollable page was way better than using two invisible tabs with separate swiping regions. It just doesn't make sense to chop these features into bits when they were already well integrated together.

I just found a fix for this. 

Swipe down on the Control Panel. Click the Pencil icon. Click Panel Settings in the upper left corner. Select Together. 

This puts notifications and the control panel back the way they were.

Now to find a way to fix all the other nonsense.

It's a matter of perspective
Apart from a few little glitches i don't see anything wrong and enjoying the UI
Fact is the software gets changed all the time.
Some of it is done by Google and Samsung lay their own launcher on top.
I'm afraid this is the way Google are taking Android and it will get changed and adjusted as they see fit.
Samsung has to change its UI to work on the Android platform

Found one more: To change the app icons back to their original size, set it to the minimum on Home Screen Settings. OneUI 7 makes them bigger for no reason, on top of shifting pre-existent placements up or down.

I feel the same way I've had a galaxy since the S5 I'm now on the s24 ultra and I woke up this morning to this being forced on my phone and it feels like I'm using an iPhone again the entire reason I got a Galaxy was to get rid of the iPhone I hate them I hate the way they work I hate the way they look I hate the way they function if this is the way phones are going I'm going back to a flip phone
