I hate One UI 7: how can I restore One UI 6?

I got One UI 7 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and I hate every single change. It is such a big drawback for me, that it's almost a showstopper. I used Galaxy S phone since the S III and I have never been so disappointed.

Is there a way to remove this mess and go back to the previous UI?

Most you can do is download a launcher that tries to emulate one ui 6. As the ui on your phone is technically an app you can swap. Not aware of any one ui 6 launcher app though. That'd only change a few things if a launcher for that even existed so realistically not worth even trying.

I don't think if you can go back to One Ui6 now but the old one was better than this.

Can I know why you want to go back to 6.1? What is so bad on OneUI7?

@lornova Further to @arianwen27 's post It is not possible to downgrade the software via official means and there are inherent risks in doing so, would not recommend.

Plus if samaung marked the update with an efuse, the phone physically wouldn't allow a downgrade. Now and again updates cannot be downgraded from, enforced with hardware in the phone

You can always download Samsung Goodlock and use the various plugins to really customise your phone.

One hand operation+ is bugged in one ui 7.

Can't use it to bring quick panel 😕

Has anyone had battery drain issues on their S24 since the one UI 7 update?. My battery was down to 50% after just 4 hrs relatively light use. For me the battery on the S24 from day 1 has been poor. My wife's S23 with snapdragon chip gets better battery lfe than my S24 and it's a year older. I would never buy another Samsung phone with an Exynos chipset whilst other regions get Snapdragon.

Buy another S24 Ultra that hasn't been updated yet ? You won't get anymore security updates though
